31st August 2016 - The box office opens for the Family Show featuring the exciting double bill of Dr Emily Grossman and Dr Mark Lewney covering topics about stemcell research, cloning, acoustics and Superstring theory!

2nd August 2016 - The Malvern Festival of Innovation is shortlisted as a finalist in the Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence 2016 in the Best Festivals and Events (Community) category.

 

13th July 2016 - GWR confirm that the Innovation Express will once again run from London Paddington to Great Malvern during the Festival week, connecting innovators in the Thames Valley to the event.

 

16th June 2016 - London Midland confirm that the Innovation Shuttles will once again run between Herefordshire and Birmingham New Street, bringing innovators from around the Midlands to the Festival.

 

2nd June 2016 - Wynne Jones IP, a leading IP firm specialising in patents, trade marks and designs, comes on board as a Palladium sponsor for the Business of Innovating day Friday 7th October 2016.

 

18th May 2016 - Leading futurist and author Anne Lise Kjaer to speak at the Formal Dinner in Malvern College on Thursday 6th October evening.

 

10th May 2016 - QinetiQ confirm Gold Sponsorhip of the Festival's Cyber Security and IoT day, Thursday 6th October 2016.

 

1st April 2016 - Malvern Observer (artilce no longer available), The Malvern Hills have been planted with genetically modified coloured grasses to provide a spectacular backdrop to the Festival this autumn.

 

4th March 2016 - Marcus du Sautoy, Simonyi Professor for the Public Understanding of Science and Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford, writer and television presenter, will join us at our new Embarkation launch event to give a talk about his new book titled What we Cannot Know. Marcus will also present to students the following day at Next Generation Innovators.

 

26th February 2016 - Three Counties announce that they will be Gold Sponsors of the Festival, and so once again we will be holding the Next Generation Innovators schools day at the Showground.

 

5th February 2016 - Malvern Instruments confirm they are coming back again as Silver Sponsors of the Festival, helping us to deliver the Next Generation Innovators schools outreach day for students across the region.

 

27th January 2016 - Further details of this year's programme announced with Cyber Security & Internet of Things to feature on Thursday 6th October ahead of the Formal Dinner. The Business of Innovating will take place the next day on Friday 7th.

 

12th January 2016 - Core dates for the fifth Malvern Festival of Innovation, to be held 3rd-8th October 2016 are announced.
