8th October 2014 - Science Showcase at the Malvern Theatres a Great Success - report focusing particularly on the Family Day of the Festival. Worcester News.

 

7th October 2014 - Silver Sponsor Malvern Instruments highlight their involvment in Next Generation Innovators day and the participation by their Year in Industry placement students.

 

6th October 2014 - GCHQ report favourably on their participation at the Next Generation Innovators day.

 

3rd October 2014 - news of the successful Next Generation Innovators day at the Three Counties Showground that attrracted over 400 students from Herefordshire and Worcestershire schools in Years 7,8 and 9. 

 

3rd October 2014 - ADS and UK Cyber Security Forum announce partnership at the Malvern Festival of Innovation. 

 

27th September 2014 - we particpated in the Wonders of the Magnetic Spectrum event in Malvern Library, demonstrating light microscopy as a teaser for the upcoming Festival.  Reported in Malvern Gazette, 29th September.

 

24th September 2014 - On track to return for our third successive year. Malvern Observer, 24th September. 

 

16th September 2014 - We'll be participating at the Beyond the Rainbow - Wonders of the Electromagnetic Spectrum event at the Malvern Library on the Saturday before the Festival starts, and founder Dr Adrian Burden will be gving a talk titled 'Tripping the light fantastic - optical marvels through a microscope'. Malvern Gazette 16th September.

 

13th September 2014 - Formal Dinner tickets for the Festival can now be bought on-line with the Bitcoin crypto-currency.

 

23rd August 2014 - News breaks that The Innovation Express by our travel partner First Great Western will run again this year bringing innovators from London Paddington and the south west to Great Malvern in time for the Festival.

 

21st August 2014 - the box office opens for the Family Show on Creative Minds, featuring Mark Champkins and Quentin Cooper.

 

14th August 2014 - HP, the quintessential garage start-up, confirms they are gold sponsors of the Festival this year and will speak on the opening day.

 

4th August 2014 - SME Solictiors, Harrison Clark Rickerbys, and Bishop Fleming are our confirmed hosts for the VIP networking breakfasts on the 1st-3rd October respectively. Breakfast - the most important meal of the day to feed a creative mind!

 

24th July 2014 - Gordon Hollinghworth, Director of Software Engineering at Raspberry Pi Foundation and a past apprentice at RSRE Malvern will return to his home town on 1st October 2014 to talk about the exciting new Raspberry Pi Compute Module.

 

8th July 2014 - The visit from Aston Martin to the fringe event at Malvern College on 3rd October to enthuse students in years 10-13 is now fully subscribed with over 170 students expected from various local senior schools. 

 

17th June 2014 - Futurist and writer Richard Watson will be our guest speaker at the Formal Dinner on Thursday 2nd October evening at Malvern College.

 

3rd June 2014 - Inventor-in-Residence at the Science Museum and Dragons Den entrepreneur Mark Champkins confirms he will be joining Quentin Copper at the Family Show to talk about the fascinating world of inventions and being an inventor.

 

2nd June 2014 - Lockheed Martin confirm they will be Platinum Sponsors of the Festival this year, speaking at the Cyber Security Showcase Event on the Thursday.

 

1st June 2014 - Lee Strafford, founding CEO of UK ISP Plusnet, will open the Business of Innovating session on Friday 3rd October with a talk about how he built a start-up through initial public offering and on to a £67m trade sale.

 

29th May 2014 - Aston Martin will be coming to Malvern to present to students in Years 11-13 with an interest in design & engineering. This special event will be held Friday 3rd October at Malvern College, but open to students from local state and private schools.

 

8th May 2014 - Dr Quentin Cooper, “the world’s most enthusiastic man” and “an expert on everything from pop music to astrophysics” according to the Times, will be joining us at the Family Show on Saturday 4th October 2014. Tickets will be available soon.

 

6th May 2014 - SME Solicitors announce they will be sponsoring and co-hosting the VIP Breakfast ahead of the Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing symposia on Wednesday 1st October 2014.

 

29th April 2014 - Santander Corporate and Commercial return as Festival Gold Sponsors.

 

25th April 2014 - Malvern Instruments are supporting the Festival again this year as a Silver Sponsor on the Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing day, Wednesday 1st October 2014.

14th January 2014 - Building on the success of last year's Next Gen. Innovators schools fringe event, we confirm that this year a full day event aimed to attract Years 7, 8 and 9 students will be staged at the Three Counties Showground on Thursday 2nd October 2014.
