Originally founded in Shropshire, Black Country Atelier is a 3D prototyping workshop now based in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, UK. The Bloodhound SSC is a 130,000bhp, 6.5 tonne car with 47,000lbs of thrust powered by the Eurofighter development engines. The target is for Bloodhound SSC to break the land-speed record and reach 1000 mph / Mach 1.4. The project is also aimed at inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers and mathematicians.
